Keith Van Horne was born in Mount Lebanon Pennsylvania and went to Fullerton Union High School. For college he attended USC. where he was in contention for the Outland Trophy. Van Horne was drafted by the Bears in the first round of the 1981 draft. The 6-foot-6, 281 pound right tackle was a significant presence on the offensive line for the Bears from 1981-1993.  He played for the Bears 1985 Super Bowl team and was named on the 100 Top Bears of All Time list. Fans remember the Bears great offensive line players in the 1980s.

Years after the Bears Super Bowl XX Season, Van Horne remembers the affection for the fans and the year the Bears were America’s Team.
