Dax Raymond is an undrafted free agent picked-up by the Bears and will be competing for a job in Camp this summer. Raymond played for three seasons for Utah State. The 6-foot-five 255 pounds tight end ran a 4.73-second 40-yard dash at the combine.

Raymond gets high marks for his potential. He went on a two-year mission for the Mormon Church as many y0ung men do in that faith. He talks about giving a team immediate help and they may be looking for it when they consider his age. His best stats came in 2017 when he caught 41 passes for 456 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Bears have tight end Trey Burton, their number one, and Adam Shaheen. Burton was new to the Bears last year coming from a Super Bowl season with the Eagles. Shaheen has great size and talent, but has missed many game with injuries.
