The Oakland Raiders  fourth-round draft pick is Foster Moreau, a 6-foot-4, 253 pounds tight end from at LSU. A native of New Orleans, Moreau showed good numbers at the Combine with a 4.66-second 40-yard dash and a  36 1/2-inch vertical jump.  After signing Moreau, the Raiders released veteran tight end tight end Lee Smith.  Some analysts hint that Moreau may be much more than a blocking tight end and others suggests that he has a limited upside.  These are interesting opposing views and I suspect NFL coaches get a kick out of those kind sentiments. In the end, it will all be played out on the field, although the trick with any draft choices as well as those picked up as undrafted free agents is to determine how much better a player will get with NFL training and experience.
