If you see Head Coach Matt Nagy today wish him a happy birthday.  The young Bears’ Coach is 41 today.

Nagy was born in New Jersey and moved to Pennsylvania as a toddler with his mom. In Lancaster County, Nagy played football and basketball for Manheim Central High School in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Fiercely competitive even as a young boy, Nagy led his high school team to two semifinal football games and accumulated 3500 yards in passing.

In College, he played for Delaware always competing and leaving impressive stats along the way. He then played 7 seasons in the Arena League before turning his attention to coaching. After high school coaching, he began coaching for the Eagles as in intern. Nagy obtained a position as Offensive Quality Control Coach in 2011 for the Eagles and then moved on to Kansas City in 2013 when former Eagles coach Andy Reid took charge of the program there. He moved up to offensive coordinator in 2017 and then took the Bears head coaching position in 2018. It has been fast and furious for Nagy.

Coach Nagy  looks like someone who has a secret–he has it figured out and he and Ryan Pace are indeed surrounding themselves with players who can accomplish it.
