Christ Berated the Scribes and Pharisees
Matthew 23:1-12
Christ spoke to the crowd and His Disciples.
He did not like those scribes and Pharisees
Who were more concerned about their image
Than in living lives of integrity.
Christ did not want to abolish the Law.
He wanted to bring it to perfection.
Scribes and Pharisees preached but did not practice.
They sought the highest civic positions.
Jesus Christ was here to serve not be served.
He called His Disciples to be humble.
Here’s something from Saint Augustine, “We are
leaders and servants: we lead when we serve.”
Faith based writers and leaders need to teach
And preach about the Kingdom of heaven.
