Christ Foretold the Treachery of Judas
John 13:21-33, 36-38
After Jesus had washed the feet of His
Disciples, including Judas, Jesus
Predicted that one of them would betray
Him. He gave a food morsel to Judas.
Judas was tempted. Jesus said to him,
“What you are going to do, do quickly.”
The other disciples thought that Jesus
Had sent Judas to go for feast supplies.
The morsel was a sign of friendship, an
invitation to reject temptation.
This sin took place in the darkness of night.
The darkness did not defeat the True Light.
Coach Abe Gibron used to say, “You dropped me
Like a rat deserting a sinking ship.”
