Christ Told a Parable About Fishing

                Matthew 13:47-53

The Navarre Bible notes are instructive.

“Like the Church, the Kingdom of Heaven is

open to everyone, even though some

will prove unworthy: at the end, the an-

gels will separate the good from the bad.”

The disciples understood what Christ said.

Saint Bernard said, Christ, “is always new, and

constantly renews the soul; he never grows

old because he will never fade away.”

In the movie “Finding Forrester,” Sean

Connery’s character says, “you write the

first draft with your heart; rewrite with your head.”

I am not a Doctor of the Church, but

I do have First Aid merit badge.  Amen.
