Endowed with the Wisdom of the Spirit

Luke 12:8-12

From the Navarre Bible notes, we know that

What Jesus taught the disciples has been

“Echoed in the words of many martyrs”

Like Saint Ignatius and Saint Polycarp.

From Saint Thomas More’s daughter, Margaret,

We know that he consoled his good daughter.

He knew that God would not let him be lost.

With good hope he was committed to God.

In good faith he trusted God Almighty.

He did not want his daughter to worry

About what would happen to him on earth.

Whatever happened was the will of God.

“What so ever that be, seme it never

so bad in sight, it shall dede be the best.”
