Following Jesus Christ Is Not Easy
From the Navarre Bible commentary,
We know that Christ “acts with authority.”
A scribe said that Jesus was a teacher.
Jesus said that He did not have a home.
A disciple saw Christ as a preacher.
The scribe could have written Him a poem.
True disciples follow Christ all the time.
“Nothing is more important than” Heaven.
The Son of man had the ultimate plan.
Follow Him since He was the Son of God.
Remember an eighth-grade basketball cheer.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, all good
Players go to Heaven. When they get there,
They repeat. Saint Mary’s cannot be beat.
