Jesus Appeared to Mary Magdalene
Mary Magdalene searched for Jesus Christ.
A depth of love for Him burned in her heart.
She alone stayed close to the tomb of Christ.
All of the disciples had gone away.
Mary looked for Jesus to be with Him.
She hoped He had not been taken away.
She stayed close; she was the first to see Him.
Perseverance was justly rewarded.
Jesus Christ called her name. She knew His voice.
Mary first witnessed the Resurrection.
Then she shared the news with alacrity.
The disciples would become His brethren.
Jesus said to Mary, “Do not hold me.”
He had to leave her and go to Heaven.
