Jesus Came to Establish Division

Luke 12:49-53

Our division is the NFC North.

We often play Lions, Packers, Vikings.

When you turn the other cheek, stand your ground.

Let’s establish a solid running game.

Some attend every game; some do not.

Let there be amnesty for the no shows.

Jesus did not come to establish peace.

That’s why football is a collision sport.

Some root for the Cubs; some root for the Sox.

The important thing is we’re all Bear fans.

Jesus was here to divide our households.

Thank God for homilies to explain why.

We must follow the voice of Jesus Christ

From conception to a natural death.
