Jesus Christ Forgave a Sinful Woman

Luke 7:36-50

Jesus, Simon, and a sinful woman

Had a meal together in Simon’s house.

Simon did not show common courtesy.

The people thought Jesus was a prophet.

Simon thought Jesus Christ was a teacher.

Jesus showed Simon that He was much more.

Jesus knew hidden things.  He could read a

Person’s thoughts.  He knew about the woman.

Christ could forgive sins because He was God.

Forgiveness and love are quite connected.

We show our love for God; He forgives us.

Faith is what saves and love manifests faith.

Jesus forgave the woman; she had faith.

Her humility was the deal maker.
