Jesus Christ Spoke About Pure Intentions

Luke 6:43-49

We know the type of tree by the tree’s fruit.

A tree with apples is an apple tree.

A person with good works has a good heart.

Let’s surrender our will to do God’s will.

Words and good intentions are not enough.

Perseverance is built on our good works.

Let us be witnesses, faithful and true.

Obey the Commandments. That’s what we can do.

Eric Burdon and the Animals sang,

“I’m just a soul whose intentions are good.

Lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood.”

I am not a misunderstood genius.

Coach Joe Yonto used to say, “Talk is cheap.”

His 1961 team was 10-0.
