Jesus Christ Taught the Fullness of the Law
Jesus did not want to replace the Law.
He wanted to bring it to perfection.
He explained the Law in general terms.
Then He established His authority.
God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses.
Jesus gave us the Eight Beatitudes.
That adds up to Eighteen which was Peyton
Manning’s number. He is a great Christian.
This passage is from the Sermon on the
Mount, the greatest homily of all time.
I wasn’t there, but I have typed it and
Timed it. It took about fifteen minutes.
Saint Augustine said the Sermon was “the
Perfect expression of the Christian life.”
