Jesus Discoursed about the Bread of Life

John 6:22-29

After Jesus had multiplied loaves and

Fishes and walked on water, people looked

For Him.  They had had an excellent suf-

fiency.  So they wanted to thank Him.

Filled with food, they took boat rides to Christ.

This prefigured the altar calls at the

Billy Graham Crusades.  “The busses will wait.”

Jesus gave us faith and eternal life.

Jesus said to them, “Do not work for food

That perishes but for food that endures

For eternal life.”  We have Communion.

Catholics can have Communion every day.

Passover has become the Eucharist.

Instead of manna we have Communion.
