Jesus Exemplified Humility

Luke 14: 7-11

Seeking the highest place leads to disgrace.

Being humble avoids a big tumble.

Being exalted tastes like a malted.

It’s calorie free for both you and me.

Humility helps us to be stress free.

It is a virtue that we should pursue.

Let’s walk in the truth like Esther and Ruth.

Living by ourselves leads to misery.

At a dinner party don’t be smarty.

It’s a long drive home if feelings were hurt.

It’s best to give praise to your lovely wife.

Then you can drive home without any strife.

I try to sit in the front pew because

I am trying to ace the course.  Amen.
