Jesus Expressed Woes to the Hypocrites

Matthew 23:13-32

Excessive worry about unclean gnats

Leads to blindness about impure camels.

Anyone who is always on a stage

Could become a phony at any age.

Hypocrites try to look good to others.

They’re not funny like the Smothers Brothers.

Dick asked “If someone told you to jump off

A bridge, would you?”  Tom replied, “Not again.”

Since we are made in God’s image, we should

Imitate God: justice, mercy, and faith.

Seek fulfillment in God, the best reward.

Do not abolish the Law; enhance it.

If we pout or shout, we need a time out.

Quiet time is helpful to be sublime.
