Jesus Makes Us Acceptable to God

Luke 4:21-30

The Garden of Eden was heavenly.
Jesus Christ will help us get to Heaven.

Christ lived in Nazareth for thirty years.
Jesus was an indigenous leader.
He does not need a doctor; He’s the cure.
Instead of envious, let’s be grateful.

We receive God’s love through the Sacraments.
Jesus wants us to be humble and confident.
He will purify and sanctify us.

The people of Nazareth were fickle.
Jesus did not passively accept their
Fury. He went away to pray alone.

No poet is accepted in his own
Parish, except of course Seamus Heaney.
