Jesus Prayed for the Apostles and Us

John 17:11-19

Jesus Christ asked His Father to keep His

Apostles in His name for communion

With Him.  Their unity would reflect the

Unity of the Blessed Trinity.

The Trinity reigns with mutual love

And self-giving.  We can discover our

True selves only when we give ourselves.

Jesus invites us to receive God’s love.

Be in the world without being worldly.

Jesus died for us and gave us true life.

Jesus prayed this at the Last Supper.

Knute Rockne said, “Win one for the Gipper.”
