Jesus Restored the Son of a Widow

                Luke 7:11-17

Nain was a village in Galilee.

A widow there had a son who had died.

Because Jesus was moved by her sorrow,

He took the initiative and helped her.

Jesus offered consolation.  He said

to her, “Do not weep.”  Then He brought her son

back to life.  After Christ showed compassion,

He worked a miracle and showed power.

Jesus Christ was much more than a prophet.

His Father sent Him to be Messiah.

Steve Martin was a cheerleader.  He said

The other cheerleaders were so jealous

Of his talent that they wouldn’t use the

Cheer he wrote.  “Die, you gravy sucking pigs.”
