Jesus Said He and the Father Are One
Jesus used the image of the shepherd.
He spoke about the mystery of God.
He and the Father have divine natures.
He and the Father are distinct Persons.
Jesus Christ gave up His life for His sheep.
Here’s something from Saint Thomas Aquinas.
If we open our eyes, we’re able to see.
If we close our eyes, we prevent sunlight.
The Father eternally begot Christ.
The Son is eternally Word of God.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One.
There is Unity in the Trinity.
My sons Ed, Tom, Jim are distinct persons.
Yet, they are great brothers to each other.
