Jesus Said That the Father Had Sent Him

John 8:21-30

When the authorities rejected Christ,

He warned them that he would leave and return

To heaven.  They would continue to hope

For a Messiah.  They would not find Him.

Jesus was the Messiah.  They could not

Follow Him because they did not believe

In Him.  Jesus was the expression of

God’s faithfulness, even though we’re sinners.

God gave His Son for us.  He showed mercy.

Jesus gave His life to free us from sin.

The passion, death, and resurrection of

Jesus gave us a chance for salvation.

The cross of Jesus became a royal throne.

He lifted us up to get to heaven.
