Jesus Spoke About His Passion and Death
Luke 9:43-45
After the Transfiguration, Jesus
Told the disciples about His passion
And death, but the disciples missed the point.
They did not have the grace of the Spirit.
Christ’s passion and death were in the future.
Luke wrote about Christ’s humiliation,
Not about His glorification and
The victory of His resurrection.
Love the cross; identify with Jesus.
Crucify yourself through self-denial.
When my wife, Gretchen, and I do our chores
Together, we are like Torvill and Dean.
They were a very dramatic figure
Skating pair in the winter Olympics.
