Jesus Taught His Disciples Privately

Mark 9:30-37

The disciples did not understand Christ.

With God’s grace, they would understand later.

The prophets had foretold what Jesus taught.

He would suffer death in Jerusalem.

This was the only way to save mankind.

Christ only told the disciples about it.

Christ told the disciples to be servants.

They were not to be the Church taskmasters.

Then they would be equipped to be leaders.

Ambition and pride should be put aside.

A desire to control others leads to

Many unhappy sisters and brothers.

Let’s serve everybody with charity.

The world is much more than just you and me.
