Jesus the Son Reveals God the Father

John 14:1-6

Jesus predicted Peter’s denial.
That seemed to have depressed the Apostles.

Jesus wanted them to be joyful.  So

He told them, “that He is going away

To prepare a place for them in Heaven”

Despite shortcomings, failures, and setbacks.

The quotes are from the Navarre Bible notes.

Jesus “is Life because from all eter-

nity he shares in divine life with the

Father…through grace” we can have divine life.

Christ spoke in iambic pentameter:

Poetry, ten syllables in each line.

“I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father, but by me.”
