Jesus Told the Parable of the Pounds

Luke 19:11-28

A servant with ten pounds made ten pounds more.

He was given rule over ten cities.

A servant with five pounds made five pounds more.

He was given rule over five cities.

Jesus will come again as King and Judge.

Let us develop our inheritance.

God gave us life, the gift of faith, and grace.

We strive and we thrive to make them bear fruit.

Saint Josemaria Escriva said,

“Don’t let your life be barren.  Be useful.

Make yourself felt.  Shine forth with the torch of

Your faith and your love…with the fire of Christ…”

Our mission is to perform our duties.

Let’s not worry about getting cooties.
