Let’s Trust in God’s Fatherly Providence

Matthew 6:24-34

God the Father feeds birds of the air.

He gives lilies of the field their beauty.

His daily protection never fails us.

He will provide what is necessary.

Christ told us to take each day as it comes.

Cut unnecessary anxiety.

The Kingdom of God is spiritual.

The world He maintains is material.

Here are two things for us to remember.

Finley Peter Dunne said, “Trust everybody,

But cut the cards.”  Jean Shepherd had a book

Called, “In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash.”

Sidney Poitier was a worker who

Built a chapel in “Lilies of the Field.”
