Parable of the Good Samaritan

Luke 10:25-37

A lawyer stood Jesus Christ to the test.

Christ answered his question with two questions.

The lawyer answered very correctly.

Then the lawyer asked another question.

Jesus Christ answered with a parable.

He wanted us to be compassionate.

He symbolized the good Samaritan.

Adam was the man among the robbers.

Thieves left the man on the side of the road.

All of his wounds would be healed in the Church.

Johnny Carson asked Ed McMahon, “What’s it

Like to be half Catholic and half Jewish?”

Ed McMahon said, “You still have to go to

Confession, but you can bring your lawyer.”
