The Apostles Did Not Understand Christ

               John 16:16-20

Jesus told His Apostles about His

Death and Resurrection.  They were baffled.

They would be upset.  They would be joyful.

Jesus would rise.  They would get to Heaven.

Christ said something.  They did not understand.

They repeated what He had said to them.

He knew that they did not know what He meant.

He repeated what He had said to them.

When Coach Wooden corrected a player,

He used the same tone of voice more than once.

The player eventually behaved.

Coach Wooden was a great Christian teacher.

The Apostles grew to understand Christ.

Teacher Wooden won ten championships.
