The Curing of an Epileptic Boy by Patrick McCaskey

Mark 9:14-29

When Jesus and Peter and James and John
Came down from a high mountain, they came to
The other disciples and a great crowd.
When the crowd saw Jesus, they were amazed.

The father of an epileptic boy
Asked Christ to stop the seizures of his son.
The disciples were not able to help.
Christ invites the father to pray with faith.

Then Christ taught the disciples in private.
After His ascension, they had to pray.
Through the curing of an epileptic,
Christ teaches us to pray with confidence.

Mark Twain said, “I have the calm, quiet con-
fidence of a Christian, with four aces.”
