The Death of Jesus Christ Led to the Church

John 11:45-57

Some believed in Jesus.  Others did not.

The death of Christ fulfilled the prophecies.

He gathered the believers together.

The Church was united throughout the world.

The will of God is fulfilled in the Church.

He created human nature as one.

He sent His beloved Son, His appointed

heir, to be preacher, teacher, and Savior.

The Church is universal, one body.

It transcends borders.  We’re all God’s children.

Christ went with His disciples to Ephraim.

It might have been close to Jerusalem.

The Passover reference set the scene.

Christ is the definitive Passover.
