The Father Loved Jesus, Jesus Loves Us
Brotherly love led Jesus to the cross.
Jesus proved His love for us on the cross.
Love inspires us to keep the Commandments.
Love for Christ leads us to obedience.
From the Navarre Bible commentary,
We know that Jesus Christ is our best friend.
After Christ had ascended to Heaven,
Matthias became the twelfth Apostle.
From the book called “Who’s Who in the Bible,”
We know that “There had to be twelve to cor-
respond to the twelve tribes of Israel.”
If the Apostles had played football, they
Would have been a great team. Matthias, who
Replaced Judas, would have been the kicker.
