The Parable of the Unjust Steward
Luke 16:1-13
Parables helped Jesus convey teachings.
He taught the Apostles to be clever.
Saint Josemaria Escriva wrote,
“What zeal people put into their earthly
Affairs…When you and I put the same zeal
Into the affairs of our souls, we will
Have a living and working faith. And there
Will be no obstacle that we cannot
Overcome in our apostolic works.
The Navarre Bible notes are instructive.
“at all times, in little things and big things,
In wealth or poverty our focus should
Be on God.” Christ said “And I tell you,”
God alone is the source of every good.
