The Parable of the Vineyard Workers

Matthew 20:1-16

Christ taught the goodness and mercy of God.

Jesus went far beyond human justice.

All of us benefit from God’s goodness.

Working in the vineyard is a blessing.

God is quite just.  Paul Just played basketball.

Let’s be grateful he played for Notre Dame.

Regardless of when God calls, let’s say yes.

When He will call is anybody’s guess.

Instead of accusing employers of

Acting wrongly, Jesus said don’t judge God.

Accept the gifts of God; also thank Him

For involvement in His salvation plan.

When my grandfather negotiated, this

Was the parable that he liked to use.
