The Sadducees Tried to Trap Jesus Christ

Mark 12:18-27

Christ showed the Sadducees where they went wrong.

They tried to reduce the greatness of God,

But the human mind has limitations.

There’s no limit to God’s benevolence.

They underestimated God’s power.

They tried to find contradictions in the

Holy Scripture.  They lacked humility.

Huey Lewis sang, “The Power of Love.”

Saint Hippolytus gave us great advice.

“There is only one God, my brothers, and

We can come to know him only through the

Holy Scripture.  Therefore, we must strive to

Understand the things that we are told in

The Scriptures” and then do what we are taught.
