To Get to Heaven Become Like Children

Matthew 18:1-5, 10

The disciples asked Jesus who was the

Most important.  He said a humble child.

There is no record of the disciples

Changing diapers or consoling babies.

Jesus liked to hang out with the humble.

The proud were well on their way to crumble.

Even the most successful would stumble.

The nature of a bee is to bumble.

Saint Augustine said that “the essential

Thing in the religion and discipline

Of…Christ” was “first, humility; second

Humility; and third, humility.”

Amen.  Charlotte wrote five words in her web:

“Some pig,” “terrific,” “radiant,” “humble.”
