Tribulation and the Second Coming

Luke 21:20-28

Armies circle cities and people flee.

Nations in distress will be quite a mess.

Christ’s victory is great sign for me.

Bear trials patiently; get eternity.

While we work on sod, we endure for God.

Do good works with patience and persevere.

If we give up halfway along the path,

Then we will get what we deserve: God’s wrath.

The Navarre Bible notes are instructive.

From Saint Cyprian, let us remember,

“he would lose the fruit of what he had done

…he did not finish what he had begun.”

Jesus will be with us on Earth again.

He will be here for both women and men.
