Writing to Libraries on Worthwhile Struggle

Writing to Libraries on Worthwhile Struggle

I’ve been writing to libraries the past few months on Worthwhile Struggle. Worthwhile Struggle is our fourth book in the Sports and Faith Series by Patrick McCaskey of the Chicago Bears. Like the other books in the series, this 2019 book includes material on high school, college, and professional athletes who lead exemplary lives. You might like reading about Sister Jean of Loyola, Bill Wennington announcer for the Chicago Bulls, or sports personality and ex-Bear Tom Waddle. Like the previous books it shares a little McCaskey¬† humor and personal stories on Bears heroes, relatives and friends of the author. And there are surprises, like sports questions and answers at the end of each chapter, some bios of saints, and some of the author’s unique poems.¬† If it sounds good to you, you can order it under the shop section of this website.¬† And if you’d like to read it, but can’t spare the $20, go ahead and fill out a note to your local public library to acquire a copy–I find librarians are very good these days about taking the advice of patrons. If you do recommend it, and they buy it, make sure you take out!
